Why Care?

 Why Would I care about sharks? 

This is a question that I get asked anytime I talk about saving the sharks. The real question is why wouldn't you care? Sharks play such a big role in the way we all live, without sharks the world would change drastically. The balance of the ocean would be ruined along with the health. Sharks are top predators which means they regulate the entire ecosystem. So think of it like this, a population of sharks feed on fish species A, and fish species A feeds on fish species B, who feed on the plant species C. Now say humans where to kill off that population of sharks.... that would lead to fish species A growing in population size and so they need more to eat, but because they feed on fish species B they don't have enough food so they have to eat the B species whole population.... And that means plant species C is growing without being eaten so it grows and grows until the ocean can no longer provide enough resources to sustain that plant. So in the end more aquatic life will die with the sharks and the ocean will become unstable!!! Its like a wise lion once said 

"Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance As king you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope" the same is true for humans and the ocean we must save the sharks in order to keep life in balance!!!!!!
